Do you have DVDs of the same movie?

Perhaps I missed it, but I'm surprised not have seen Lawrence of Arabia in this thread. I've got the two-disk set for the extras and the Superbit version because they corrected the coloring.

I usually sell them off before picking up the new one, but I have duplicates of:
- Alien [I wanted to hear Ridley Scott's solo commentary, so I picked up the original one-disc after having the box, and stuck it in a three disc case with 'Alien Legacy' and 'The Alien Saga'; grand total on Ebay for all three was about $12 or so]
- The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly [I hated the changes to the director's cut so much that I re-bought the original disc after having sold it off]
- Halloween [the original 2-d LE with the proper transfer and the more recent 2-d with the commentary and doc]
- JFK [the new 2-d from Warners and the R2UK of the theatrical cut, which I prefer]
- Manhunter [the original 2-d with two different cuts and extras, and the more recent director's cut]
- Terminator 2: Judgement Day [Ultimate (2-d, not flipper) and Extreme]
That's all the ones I can think of; it's only specific things (especially theatrical cuts) that make me hang on to old discs. With Halloween I just wanted the extras; it's kinda the same with T2, but once I saw the picture on the Extreme, I was more with it (though I still prefer the theatrical cut).
There are a lot of theatrical cuts I want to pick up at some point to fill out my collection ('Army of Darkness' comes to mind, or 'Lord of the Rings'es), but I usually limit myself to one copy of a movie just because I don't yet own one copy of every movie I want to.
Am I the only one who combines them into one single case? Technically, some people would probably say I messed up the 'Halloween' cover art by doing this, but I like that art, so I used it in a four-disc case to hold them all.
Oh, yeah, I also have two copies of 'Night of the Living Dead', but one of them is strictly for the Mike Nelson commentary, so it's filed with Mystery Science Theater 3000. I wouldn't want anybody to accidentally watch that when the Millenium Edition is so easy to find.

- 2 x "Happy Gilmore" (R1 & R2)
- 2 x "Picnic at Hanging Rock" (R2 & Australian R0)
- 3 x "Carnival of Souls" (H. Harvey version): 2 of the b/w version in double/triple feature packs, plus the Mike Nelson color version (can't bear to part with any of these just yet...)
...and no doubt a few more I can't remember. I do generally try to give the other copy away when I double-dip, though...
Dazza.
