I just got it, very nice packaging, probably the best DVD packaging so far unless the Roddy Piper has better packaging

Undertaker still remains the worst packaging

Also, you can't beat the price at 17 & change
Too bad I had to pay over $21 dollars for mine but worth the price

the pancake style packaging. a cool way to fuck up the dvds before they are viewed. i was pretty pissed when i got my taker dvd only to have two discs fall on the floor.

Yeah, when I got the Undertaker DVD, the top disc got disloged and I checked to see if it played fine and thankfully it did but that kind of packaging can scratch discs very easy, just terrible!

Going to Wallyword on thursday, hopefully its not sold out and hopefully its at the $17 and change price too! I guess the rumor of a Hogan figure being included was just a rumor huh?

Whats on the Trish Stratus disc? If its good, FYE is on the way so I'll swing by and get the "Unforgiven" DVD.

As for the Undertaker DVD, I'm in the "boy was that shitty packaging - lucky my DVDs weren't fucked up" group. Unfortunately for a friend of mine - his disc #3 was all scratched up (and thats the one that has the Austin first blood match that took place at Fully Loaded 99 here in "No-Goal" town so that disc is important to him/us etc) and he had to have Best Buy open up three DVD sets before finding one that wasn't scratched up.

Thanks for the quick reply DVDFreaker. So its the "Trish Stratus-100% Stratusfaction Guaranteed" DVD then-which I already have. So looks like I'll be saving a trip to FYE as I already have a pretty good copy of the PPV on DVD.

Thanks for the listing of the Easter Eggs! I'll check those out later!

Is the documentary called "Trish Revealed" on there too? Otherwise if its not, then its not the complete dvd then. (Still not getting it! LOL!)

Even if the doc is included or not, still a great deal-two DVDs for $16.99. Wonder if this is going to a trend with PPV's now, getting a old "wrestler" dvd packaged with a just recently released PPV. Cool if it becomes that!

Edit: Ahh I see thats its not included-thought maybe you forgot to include it in your post - well with that news, Carlito saids "thats not cool!" and hopefully if this becomes a trend-that they include the whole dvd of the wrestler and not forget stuff!

It didn't seem so or otherwise it would have been listed

I hated the way they packaged that one too. I actually bought a different dvd case for mine that houses three discs with the little flip thing on the inside (similar to the way they package most of the double disc sets except the flip holder holds a disc on each side). I paid more for it than I would have liked, but I figured it was worth the cost in the long run, as I don't want any of my wrestling dvd's getting messed up. If you look online, there are places that sell those.
I think WWE must have learned a lesson from that little fiasco, because they haven't tried that since. I noticed they repackaged Wrestlemania 20 in regular dvd case. Does it include all three discs, and if so, how did they package it?

The re-issued WM 20 is exactly like the Undertaker set. All three discs
stacked on top of each other.

I have the Hulk Still Rules set, and all the Wrestlemanias. What will I be missing out on if I don't get the Anthology?

Looks like Netflix finally got Summerslam 2006 in and they have Unforgiven 2006 but it has a long wait.

Lets see
disc 1
Andre vs. Hulk from PA (Hogan slams Andre and gives him a real nasty looking cut)
AWA match vs Nick Bokwinkle
Vs Roddy Piper The War to Settle the Score (match is also on the "Best stars of the 80's box)
vs. Big John Studd at msg
Disc 2
The Formation of the NWO
Hollywood Hogan vs The Giant (aka Big Show) Hog Wild
Hollywood Hogan vs Sting Starrcade
Disc 3
vs. Curt Henning XWF
vs. Triple H Backlash 02
Hogan and Edge vs. Billy and Chuck Smackdown
WWE Hall of Fame Ceromony
Hogan vs Shawn Michaels Summerslam Legend vs Icon
The Bonus Disc at Walmart
vs. Tito Santana (as a heel)
vs. Sonny Rogers and Chuck Greenlee AWA (as a heel)
vs. Terry Funk snme
vs. King Harley Race snme
vs. Earthquake Summerslam 90
Mean Gene interviews Hogan from the Raw Hoecoming

Basically its your choice, but that is every match not from wm or on the Hulk Still Rules dvd.

So is the Hogan figure near the DVD set at Wal-Mart or what? I'm dropping by tomorrow afternoon and don't want to go on a wild chase to find the figure (if it's still there, that is).

No figure with Hogan Anthology in Wal-Mart, at least in the DVD section. I didn't check in the toy section .

I think the Hulk Hogan Anthology dvd is a worthwhile purchase for avid collectors who want footage they don't have elsewhere. I think I counted 14 items that this anthology has that I didn't have on other dvd's. To me, it was worth it. I bought mine at Wal-Mart for $20. I do wish they had included some matches from other events though. For instance, I'm sure there was a match that Hogan wrestled Piper in that hasn't been released on dvd yet. So far they've released the War To Settle The Score match and the Wrestling Classic match between Hogan and Piper.
Also, I wish they had put Hogan's match with Paul Orndorff from SNME from Fall of 1986 (don't know the date). It was a regular match. So far, the steel cage match has been released on a few different dvd's as well as this match from The Big Event in Toronto.
I also wish they had put a different match between Hogan and Savage. That's another case where I'm sure there were other matches they could have pulled out.
It seems as though WWE feels that the Wrestlemania matches are the all important ones (which in some cases they are). But at some point, they'll need to start digging deeper into the archives to keep fans buying these anthology dvd's.

No it wasn't. He used Real American at Wrestlemania 21.

I have the regular 2 disc edition. What does the 3 disc version have extra on it?

My Wal-Mart had neither the set or the figure. Plenty of The Break Up, though!

Quick question, now is the Hogan DVD 4 discs at Wal-Mart and 3 discs everywhere else or 4 discs everywhere?
