Will Royal Rumble '98 be blurred? That was when they were just starting to use the scratch logo, and they didn't just change over night.

Royal Rumble '99 sucked aside from one match, so any replayability will come from that match (Foley vs. The Rock). I have Royal Rumble '00 and '04. I'll see if I can hunt down '01 - '03.

I seem to remember the turnbuckles being scratch logo's. So expect some blurring during the matches.

He doesn't have to make sense. All he needs to do is upset a few people and his job is done.

Good news on the new anthology sets. I'll probably snap up the first couple sets for each one; the ones without blurring happen to be the shows I'm most interested, anyway.

Guys, let's drop the comments directed at other members. The thread is for discussing the DVD, not each other.

This DVD also includes a BONUS DVD "ECW Barely Legal:"

This is packaged in a 2 disc amaray case. It was a night where champions excelled, alliances crumbled and emotions exploded. Extreme Championship Wrestling leaped into the future on April 13, 1997 with their very first Pay-Per-View. Held at the world famous ECW arena in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, it was a night so EXTREME it was BARELY LEGAL! It is approx 146 minutes.

ECW One Night Stand 2006: With Rob Van Dam cashing in his Money in the Bank title opportunity in an arena packed with rabid ECW fans, is John Cena’s WWE Championship about to go Extreme? Will the maniacal Sabu claim Rey Mysterio’s World Heavyweight Championship in his latest reign of terror? Which duo can claim the Hardcore mantle – Mick Foley & Edge or Terry Funk & Tommy Dreamer? It’s the return of ECW and its special brand of violence at ECW ONE NIGHT STAND.

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: John Cena vs. Rob Van Dam

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Rey Mysterio vs. Sabu

MIXED EXTREME TAG TEAM MATCH: Tommy Dreamer & Terry Funk & Beulah vs. Mick Foley & Edge & Lita

Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton

Balls Mahoney vs. Masato Tanaka

Tazz vs. Jerry “The King” Lawler

F.B.I. vs. Tajiri & Super Crazy

Approximate running time: 3 hours.
meh. I already have Barely Legal on DVD and I have ONS2 downloaded. So I'll pass this one.

The Pioneer Barely Legal was already edited a bit with entrances, and a few other things I believe. Maybe they'll edit Lance Storm's "chairshot" on RVD

Anyone think they'll do a King Of The Ring set? It wasn't that popular, but I'd buy 93' through 99' on dvd just to have them.

This was posted in the bargains forum but I will post it here too. FYE has most WWE dvds on sale Buy 1 Get 1 free this week. Their prices are pretty bad but getting 1 free makes it worthwhile. I picked up the Eddie Guererro 2 disc set and the Benoit 2 discer for $26.99 + Tax. They had a lot of old PPVs (mostly 2003 and 2004) for $12.99. Getting 2 PPVs for $13 isnt bad.

Does anyone know why WWE has extensively released a lot of the old PPV's on dvd in Europe but not in the US? I've wondered if it wasn't because they were afraid it might interfere with the launch of WWE 24/7. I thought maybe they might fear that people would be apt to buy the PPV's on dvd rather than subscribe to their on demand channel.

I can't seem to find the article on the net, but from what I read, silvervision won some sort of case or something to that affect that allows them to put them out.

I might get Vengeance just for the bonus disc. Hmm.

I hope not, since most likely Vince would make a mockery of WCW and spend most of it focusing on '99-'01.

Not at this time, but they are releasing an AWA Documentary in November.
