Oh I got a steal!
Does that fall under the rule of no box sets with previously released dvds or was it released as a set first?

It would make things easier when we get to the tournament if have 16, 32, 64, etc entrants. Since this is our first time through this, I'll limit the field to 16 (unless demand takes us higher).
Also, will we draft 1-10 then 10-1 and so forth?
That's a good idea, I've updated the rules to reflect this.
Groucho, are playing too or just being the commissioner?
I'll just be the commish this time around.

Also, I'm going to allow unlimited box sets for now, with the exception of those that contain DVD's that were already out (as mentioned before). Depending on how things go, I might change that in the future.

I've tried to clarify the rules in my initial post. If they still don't make sense to anybody, please speak up.

Groucho - Are we going to be able to "argue" why our collection is better in the top of each competition thread? It will make a big difference on my draft strategy.

I'll take the Twilight Zone Season One Definitive Edition. I assume that's okay since this version of the show hasn't been released before. (i.e restored and with the shows in order.)

I think it does meet the criteria... the versions in the quadrilogy were not released prior to the box set being released.

Okay, I've updated the list and we've now got 20 players. I'm going to limit the field to 32. So, if you're the 32nd player, go ahead and make both your draft pics at the same time.

I've accepted everything except for jdpatri's pick, which I'm still waiting a replacement for.

Mrs. Nesbit, you are welcome to "sell" your collection to the voters any way you'd like.

If possible, I'd like to ring in with the John Cassavettes - Five Films set.
