Since these discs are the same, anyone out there that bought both willing to part with one of them?

Has anyone else had in problems with any of their discs from Season 5? The 3rd disc in my set has frozen for about 5 seconds in at least three of the episodes. I thought the first time it did it was because of a layer change but it has done it in more than one episode.

Ive nearly finished season 5 and have had no problems. Save yourself some annoyance and return your set for a new one.

Just don't be surprised if it's going to happen on your next set as well. It's quite possible it's a disc error but it could be your DVD player as well.

yeah. buy a cheap lens cleaner and run it every couple of months. Always good to do if you rent a lot.

I've had that problem before and cleaning the lens clears it right up.

Is lens cleaning necessary? I ask because I have had my player going on four years now and have not cleaned it once.

I wouldn't mess with the lens unless I have problem playing a disc that can be played on another player.

I usually don't mess with it either unless I have problems reading a disc, which isn't often. But it can help if you are having problems.
