Seinfeld seasons 5 & 6

I just found on play.com seinfeld seasons 5 & 6 advertised. Also a gift set is available - tshirt and script - and all out on november 28. Of course this is only region 2 maybe region 1 is different.www.play.com

I'm not gonna get my hopes up too much just yet, but a USA press release should be coming in the next 30+ days. Given how the 2 sets (seasons 1 thru 3) and the gift set sold HUGE numbers last holiday season, this makes total sense profit wise. Spreading out the releases to put season 6 in March or so won't make it sell more copies. The XMAS season and Seinfeld (a top gift idea) go together great. I would love 2 more full seasons in 2005. That also means they can do the exact same schedule next year (2006) then all 9 seasons will be out. Count me in for everything.

This sounds like a very real possibility. Here's hoping we have the first 6 seasons by year's end.

I would definately like to see another gift set. The first gift set was nicely setup and looks great on the shelf. Not holding my breath, though. Either way, as with most of us, I am in it for the long haul, so whenever they get them out, I will be there.

Very possible! Sony needs the cash at this time. Speedy release is good for us and the corporate behemoth.

Another gift set would be great. Maybe even in time for the DDD sale or Black Friday.

Here's to hoping Blockbuster underprices these sets once they are announced for preorder.

I wish they would both come out. I feel all the studios should hurry things up a little. Especially FOX and the Simpsons.

It would be a brilliant idea as they would sell like hotcakes.

November sounds about right to me. 2 seasons and a gift set to help take advantage of the holidays is a good idea. That leaves Season 7 to come out next spring and seasons 8 and 9 at the end of next year. And then Sony can start releasing the Blu-Ray versions in 2007.
