Oh.. I'll double dip for this. Thx for the heads up.

That looks cool!

Awesome -- glad I got rid of the tin.
|
Those features look exactly the same as the old Limited Edition tin to me.
|
I'll wait until it comes in a normal case. I remember the Evil Dead Book version, the disc came in a sleeve that was glued in the book. Mine got scratched when I took it out of the case. No thanks.

How much do you wanna bet that in another year or two there will be an Army of Darkness book of the dead edition haha
|
I thought all 3 Dead movies were going to get the DiviMax treatment. Is this still happening?

Can't believe some of you are getting rid of the tins. I'll be getting this and keeping the tin.
Hmmm, I wonder if the battery can be replaced if you end up pressing the screaming eye too much? |
I was thinking about getting rid of my Evil Dead: BotD, but now that he'll have a friend, I guess I'll be buying this, too.

Based on what has been revealed so far, the new features (if good) would justify one holding onto either the tin or the original Anchor Bay release.

2-Pack of the Dead
From DavisDVD:
Anchor Bay will be releasing an Evil Dead 1 & 2 Double Book Limited Edition Gift Set on November 22nd. I haven't been able to dig up any substantial details on this other than a retail of $69.98. Whether this will be just the two Necronomicon sets bundled together, or a third "Book of the Dead" sculpt made for the two films together I just don't know yet. Either way, thanks to Nicholas for the heads-up. |
