They did release 2 DVD sets, Michael J. Fox - His All Time Favorites vol's 1 & 2 back in 2003 and i guess maybe they didn't sell well enough for the studio to make season sets.

Sure comparing the two, Scrubs is a better show, but looking at all the other shit that gets put out that is far worse than Spin City it is unforgivable. Two and a Half men anyone? Come on. Spin City was a great ensemble show that deserves to be released.

I was just thinking Lawrence may have some leverage now so where the hell is it? :)

Scrubs might be the most okay show ever, but I wouldn't say its the greatest comedy ever. Spin City was a hilarious show and I would love to replace my worn out vhs tapes with a DVD collection.

I don't think you can judge the series DVD potential by the sales of a greatest hits, although studios might. As much as I love the show I won't by compiliations.

Spin City is more deserving to have a release than a lot of the crap thats already out there. Plus, its got MJF.

Spin City is my most wanted DVD release. Followed by Cosby (1996-2000).

Dragonslayer 06-03-07 02:36 AM

Amos and Andy

Nickelodeon's ROUNDHOUSE

A great show that will never see the light of DVD day. :(

Well you might not think that scrubs is the greatest comedy ever but i do tied with the Larry Sanders show, but hey everyone has there own opinion on what the greatest shows are.
The 'Best of' sets sadly are a big decision on weather or not the studio will release ind. season sets for the show, I hate that because i hate best of's but if they don't sell well enough then the studio isn't going to take another risk of releasing ind. sets and pontentially lose money god for bid.
I completely agree that spin city is more deserving of a DVD release than alot of other shit that has been released, hell they release mediocre sitcoms like George Lopez & The War at home on DVD, hell there going to release fricken Ti'l death on DVD which is just pathetic that those shows are being released over a show like spin city.
Cosby was a good show and i really hope they release that but the big question is will it sell well?

Michael Corvin 06-04-07 10:30 AM

Some of these shows will make it to DVD eventually. I know there have been a lot of legal issues with the original Batman series, but I'm sure it will come out some day. Same with spider-man and x-men. It seems like those would be candidates to be released eventually.

It better, since they cancelled it I would be very mad if we didn't see season two on dvd.

Honey West

"The Magician", a series from '73-'74, that starred Bill Bixby as a crime-fighting magician.

Loved it as a magic-obsessed kid. Would love to be able to finally watch it without having to beg my mom to stay up past my bedtime.

SeanValen 06-09-07 10:09 AM

The Invaders
I hope it makes it.

I thought I was the only living human who remembered and wants Bearcats! (the exclamation mark was part of the show title). I also second Larado - Reese rules...

I really want

The Brady Brides

The Bradys

Models Inc.

Thankfully I have The Brady Brides and The Brady's on bootleg DVD but I would like a real release

clintilona 06-10-07 09:54 AM

Martial Law with Sammo Hung. I have all the episodes burned from when I taped them during their original run. But I would gladly pay $100 or so to own a nice original set.

There was a show with a little-person that made toys and solved crimes or something like that, anyone remember it?
