I doubt it. The mention of a "Preview of 'Clone Wars 3D' television series" almost guarantees that your descriptions above are just a collection of fanboy wish lists.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm sure that he'll continue to make changes with every new release -- Lucas will never leave these films alone. But that list of alterations looks like a fanboy dream, not a reality.

I didn't say it was 100%. That was part of the post from the other board.

Because he is an insecure egoystical "perfectionist" "artist" that is never satisfied with anything. So he will butchur his work until it is 'perfect' in his eyes...which will be never.

He seems to forget that less is more, and that is why the original versions of the original trilogy worked as well as they did. Also that is why his prequals have failed miserably since he cares more about effects than anything else.

Since notice even durring the exposition scenes,he fills the frame with an overload of unneeded CGI effects, usually with various creatures running around(some used for comic effect). Instead of being amazing and "wow",it is distracting and lame as hell and takes away from what is being said(though most of the dialogue is cringe worthy itself).

Well, if those changes are true, and for most of them, I hope they are...(like the effects shots, lightsabers, etc). Looks like I'll be buying the whole saga again.

I still wished they would add a scene in ESB during the Battle of Hoth showing the "Imperial Troops have entered the base!" with some sort of short blaster battle at one of the entrances. Maybe the added Wampa scene would be enough.

Aren't those basically the same fanboy wishes we saw before the original trilogy DVD set was released? Sure, some changes have been made but it's basically the same list, I think.

I assure you this information 100 percent true.
I can assure you that info is completely bogus. It was a fanboy wishlist passed around on a board, and somehow turned intot some big rumor that got passed around the net. Lucas recently stated he's happy with the way the films now are, and that he doesn't plan on any further changes other than further cleanup work. A recent interview with TimeOut has him saying they don't even know when they'll release a 6-film set, and may wait for hi-def DVD.

Yep!

it is distracting and lame
Not nearly as distracting and lame as these tired anti-Lucas rants that provide absolutely nothing useful.

Lucasfilm will probably become a publicly owned company within the next 3-10 years.
No it won't. Lucasfilm has never been a publically owned company, and it's been around for more than 2 decade. The only way Lucasfilm can become a publically owned company is if Lucas put it on the stock market as an initial public offering. Lucas has stated in past interviews he won't risk losing his company by offering stock for Lucasfilm. So you and I have a better chance at winning the lottery than Lucasfilm has of being a publically owned company. Lucas is king at Lucasfilm, and can do whatever he pleases. No way does he risk a buyout by selling stock in Lucasfilm.
