It's too much money to commit to more than a few of these... I'm only buying Friends (almost done!), Sex and the City (done!), (BBC) Coupling (done!), and Smallville. I'd be happy to receive the BBC version of The Office as a gift, but I won't be buying it. Otherwise, there'd be no end in sight! Thank God for Netflix for the rest...

WOW! Some of you really love your TV on DVD! Let us see how bad I am.

Absolutely Fabulous (UK show) complete (does anyone know if there are newer seasons in the works? Season 5 is the last one I know about)

Futurama (need vol 3 & 4)

Seinfeld (up to date)

Simpsons (need 5 and 6 when its released)

Transformers (G1 only - complete)

Sex and the City (have 3 seasons, I heard about plans for a complete series box set, so I will probably wait for that and sell the ones we currently have)

The Muppet Show (have all Time Life volumes, waiting to see how the season sets turn out)

Ok, that's only 7 so far, I guess I am doing ok with this habit compared to some of you

Currently just X Files and Futurama. But, as money becomes available and seasons are released I will get the following:

Family Guy
Sopranos
Dukes of Hazzard
Las Vegas
CSI: Las Vegas
CSI: NY
Numbers
Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Sets I am either collecting, up to date or done with:

Friends
Family Guy (Maybe American Dad when they release that)
Sex & the City
The Simpsons
South Park
Batman & Superman Animated Series (and Batman Beyond/ Justice League if released)
NYPD Blue (but it seems they have stopped this?)
GI Joe

Since TV on DVD can get expensive I have the first seasons of these and dont plan to continue (my theory: 1st season is ok alone, once you get season 2 you are committed for the long run!), most of these are for nostalgia)

Dukes of Hazzard
A-Team
Alf
Married with Children
Survivor (because I missed it when it was on)

I plan to get/ add:

Lost
Fraggle Rock (when they begin full season sets)
Masters of the Universe (maybe?)

TV on DVD is so great but it can be addictive and expensive!

Simpsons (Going to stop with season 7 and the resolution of "Who Shot Mr. Burns" and my favorite Simpsons episode "Lisa the Vegetarian.")
Mr. Show (complete)
Twin Peaks (still waiting for season 2...)
Red Dwarf
Family Guy
Upright Citizens Brigade (still waiting for season 2)
Strangers With Candy (complete)
Blackadder (complete)
Band of Brothers (complete)
The Prisoner (complete)
Reno: 911
Mr. Bean (complete)
Ben Stiller Show (complete)

I bought the first two seasons of Kids in the Hall, but they just aren't that funny. I'll probably sell them off and I might buy the last 3 seasons, when they hit their stride. I'm a completist, but I also have my limits of tolerance...

I love Tv-On-DVD. My first ever DVD purchase was Buffy s1 and I essentially just watch tv on DVD when I turn on my dvd player. It also helps that I watch DVDs as I work. For all of these (except the newest releases I have seen them all at least twice and watched all the special features, even on the dropped sets). That said, here's where I stand:

Collecting (up-to-date on releases)
24 (s1 - s3)
Alias (s1 - s3)
American Dreams (s1)
Aqua Teen Hunger Force (v1 - v3)
Arrested Development (s1)

Battlestar Galactica '04 (miniseries)
The Brak Show (v1)
Carnivale (s1)
Challenge of the Superfriends (v1)
Curb Your Enthusiasm (s1 - s3)
Doogie Howser (s1)
Entourage (s1)
Everwood (s1)
Harvey Birdman (v1)
Just Shoot Me (s1 - s2)
Malcom In the Middle (s1)
Mary Tyler Moore Show (s1)
Murphy Brown (s1)
Party of Five (s1)
Roswell (s1 - s2)
Scrubs (s1)
Six Feet Under (s1 - s3)
Smallville (s1 - s3)
South Park (s1 - s5)
Space Ghost: Coast to Coast (v1 - v3)
