Any idea on corrected sets in stores having different markings?

As I read things, there are no "corrected sets"; you have to send the duff disc in and get a new one.

I dodn't read anything about Warner withdrawing the sets from stores, or issuing a new run of complete sets.

I guess it's possible that the forthcoming "superset" being released in December, which will be Season One Vol 1 & 2 (not to be confused with the individual disc releases being called, annoyingly, Season 1 1/2, Season 1 3/4 etc) will be issued with the fixed version.

But it's cheaper for Warner to issue fixed discs to people who care enough about it rather than withdraw the whole set from sale and then re-issue it...not to mention the problems that would give stores, as well as the need to put some identifier on the box with the new disc.

We went through this in r2 with the first Blake's Seven sets, and believe me, it's a nightmare!

I thought I had read that some people had bought sets that were correct. Just wondering if they had noticed a difference.

glad to see warner making this happen smoothly...now if only they would get the tom & jerry sins behind them

i also noticed that no one has added the single disc releases to dvdaff. They all show up on amazon but no pics of the silver slip covers. Only place i have seen these is hot topic

I could only find them on DeepDiscount. MOst other places aren't listing them yet, or the next set come to that.

Only Amazon.

Wal*Mart had all the sets pretty cheap recently too. Not Big Lots cheap, but around 20 bucks I think.

Finally completed my collection of these sets. Was able to get them from Amazon sellers for under $10 a set.
