I couldn't even find it on their site as recently as a week ago, which was the reason for my previous post. But after reading your post I looked, and sure enough, there it is - finally.

Yeah, it's just been released in R4 at a very cheap US$7.50 price. Identical specs to R1.

Best Buy had Quick Change out early, I shouted with joy in the store when I saw it there, I said...... Yeeeeeees! I bought it, so it is officially released now. The menu for it has Bill Murray as the clown, very nice menu, and the only special feature is the trailer. I have worn out my old VHS copy, so this new transfer looks like a hi-def signal compared to the VHS verison, and sounds like a super audio cd. Haha. Only disappointment is the disc art, there is none. It has that standard Warner catalog title grey look to it. I don't really care though.

Just so happy to have one of my all-time favorite films in my collection now!

I had no idea this was coming out this week. I thought Digital Eyes cancelled my preorder when the date was changed and I had given up. I was so happy to get the shipping notice and the DVD today. Another one of my favorite movies scored on DVD. Excellent.

what is so great about this movie anyway? i saw it in theaters a long time ago and didn't dig it that much. did i miss something? i admit i hadn't seen his more serious works, like "Rushmore" and "Lost in Translation", because of course they weren't created yet. Do you think my appreciation of those will increase my enjoyment of QC?

no, different movie types.

sometimes tastes change though, so maybe seeing it now again after all those years have past may give you a better apreciation of quick change.

Quick Change DVD - What's the delay?

I remember that this DVD was supposed to come out last year, then WB delayed it. It was set to be released today (Feb. 14) but when I looked at Amazon (where I pre-ordered it), it won't ship for 6-11 days... What's the deal? Is WB delaying it yet again? Are there some legal issues perhaps with Murray (who also directed it)?

I also called over to CC and they don't even have it on their release list for the month. Didn't call BB but it's not on their website.

I got mine last week. It had been on preorder for so long that I pretty much forgot it was even coming out - after all the delays. It was a good surprise to get it in the mail. I never did hear why it was delayed the first time.

Yeah, I was reading on IMDb that people had already gotten theirs... I'm pissed, lol. I had pre-ordered it, then canceled and pre-ordered again to use the Amazon Prime. Well, maybe it'll still ship later today (unless it's being delayed due to the storms).

I got this in a large batch of review titles from WB late last week, so it's definitely out there. I wouldn't worry about another delay.

It's definitely out there. The shop I frequent has spoken about WB distribution delays due to layoffs, so that could be part of the issue.

I called BB and they did have it so I just cancelled my Amazon order... Works out anyway as I get a few rewards points.
