So VIRGIN OF NUREMBERG is going OOP? I think this may be the first Shriek Show disc that has gone OOP. Interesting....

Hopefully, their rights will expire to some of the movies they screwed up (WARLOCK MOON, HELL HIGH, etc.) so that another company can license them and release the films correctly.

So, what do you make of the OOP UMD titles? Demand just not there, or are distribs doing these as one-offs to test the waters??

I was sorta going with testing the waters theory, but if the ones listed are really OOP and not just temporarily sold-out of the current pressings, it's not likely that Sony Pictures (with Columbia Tri-Star) would be testing the water with their own product. However, the 2 Pioneer releases could fall into this category (or were intended to only be a limited edition -- I can't even find mention of the Hellsing title at their website).

I can tell you Exotica seems to be in print, or very abundant. It seemed OOP with lots of on-line stores noting they were out of stock, but now those stores seem to have stock of the title again. Makes me wonder if this is really OOP by some mistake on the OPs part. I'm curious to know what is going on with this title, as well, as I really think it's a great film.
