Wait Trinity Blood #1 (Limited Edition) is already OOP? I thought it comes out on the 26th? Thats stupid to have that shot of a print. I hate how anime boxes sometimes go out of print right away.

Has anyone heard anything about "Gummo" by Harmony Korine going out of print? I searched through this thead and couldn't find any mention of it, but Deep Discount DVD and DVD Planet haven't carried it for the longest time. Amazon still has is though. Is it out of print or is the availability just limited for some reason? Thanks.

I don't believe that it is out of print, but it's not a big seller, so many online/brick sellers won't bother having it in stock.
BestPrices.com list 42 in stock (though I think their "stock" is really their distributor's). Overstock.com claims to have in stock, as well as CDUniverse.com and DVDEmpire.com....

This re-release was originally slated for 10/3/2006, but it looks to have been postponed. DDD & BestPrices seems to be the only online vendor offering this re-release for sale.... BestPrices.com shows "out of stock" (probably based on the 10/3 date).

Our source at Rhino Home Video informs us that it has lost the rights to all four films featured on The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Collection: Volume 1 (Catalina Caper, The Creeping Terror, Bloodlust and The Sky Divers), and will, in March, lose the rights to The Sidehackers, featured in The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Collection: Volume 3.
So, if you haven't bought 'em yet, scoop 'em up now.
Our source also says they are working on what to do about the two other movies on Volume 3, The Unearthly and The Atomic Brain (the fourth disc in that set is a shorts collection). Stay tuned.

i think its oop because its limited. A few of the past Universal releases have been listed here before they are released.

Generally there are 2 "release dates". One is the "street date" (which is 11/14 for this release). The other is the "pre-order date", the date that suppliers and retailers can pre-order their copies. This was 10/12/2006 for the Deluxe Extended Editions. This is a limited pressing release and all copies have been sold (based on the pre-order date). I also think on this particular release, Universal was only accepting pre-orders and will not be accepting back orders.
