I ordered one from there about a month ago. I got it and I think it is pretty damn cool!! A worthy addition to anyone's home theater setup!!!

After about a week and half to two weeks after I placed the order I sent them an email to inquire about the status. A day or two later I got a confirmation email with the UPS tracking number and link enclosed. I got it roughly a week later. This company seems to take their own sweet time but they could've been backlogged with orders so who knows!!

Take care all!!

Those appear to be in alphabetical order, can you imagine what a bitch it'd be if you got a movie that started with an A. damn!

All of mine are in alpha order too, with the exception of animated and TV, and I'm currently sitting at close to 1100. I try to leave space on each shelf for 3-5 extras, so I don't have to shuffle around every time I get a new disc, just once every month or two.

The wall mount units come from Ikea. They don't have them listed online though. I am ready to pick up 2 more units when I get money.

I would have left space here and there to add titles but I don't have enough racks to have extra. I can fit 2 more racks and then I don't know what I will do for wall space. I have new additions in a seperate section and every couple months I do a resort and verify I still have them all. I have cut way back on purchases recently so it isn't that difficult.

They have a little more sorting than alphabetical though. The anime are the upper left followed by the Disney and then cartoons (gf wanted to be able to find the ones she wants to watch easier)before I start the main collection.

I do have a larger pic online but I can't post it cause it throws off the forum dimensions and for people with dial-up. click here if you want to see it though.

I do have an alarm and a gun.

BTW: I do watch some of the dvds on the monitor there (like X-files last night) when I feel like watching while working on something on my main computer.

Boy, some of you folks have put a lot of time and effort into your collections.

Here is ours. Fortunately my wife really enjoys films and so do my kids.

That's an old Mitsibishi 40" Glass thing that weighs a ton with PSB speakers the left and right are Image Series 7PT with powered sub-woofers in both. This I felt was a good compromise rather than having to find a spot for a big subwoofer. Certainly it doesn't perform like a top subwoofer does ... but the combo subs ain't bad. Center and rears are matching PSB speakers as well. The rears being their Bi-polar surrounds ... which are nice.

I've got about 800 DVDs at present so this is only some of it. The shelves are deep so there are other DVDs behind the DVDs you can see. I (generally) put the box sets in the back too keep things less confusing. On the other side of the fireplace our another pair of matching shelves to these. They have books in them. You remember those ...

Much of my collection are in case logic binders with the covers boxed away. Naturally when a DVD goes missing someone needs to be blamed.

The last shots are of something that I'm very happy with. I have a book case in my home office that was an old TV cabinet. From the days when TVs were in hardwood cabinets and they even had doors to shut them from your view. My dad had the idea of taking an old TV, removing the glass and cutting it down to make a bookcase. For someone that wants a confined storage space or wants something to house their old TV DVD collections ... this is a nice idea. When the depth of the cabinet was cut down, it made additional hardwood available for the shelves. If Grandma has something like this ... make a deal with her or find yours at a tag sale. Thing to remember, use a table saw with a blade designed not to splinter or chip as you want the sidecuts to be straight as an arrow.

Yea, that'd be a pretty gnarly cat. I'd definitely be feeding him whatever he wants

Actually, I think he meant the bottom left corner of the pic that has the wall-to-wall white shelving and a gazillion DVD's.

Did you get bombarded with requests? You don't seem to be accepting e-mails.
