Ok, just got ticked when I went to Target to get this. I only see the Full Screen pack on display (the price flag also said Full Screen.) I asked the clerk who was stocking the DVDs and she rather rudely said that's the only version that was released. I calmly informed her that she was mistaken and asked if the could be anywhere else in the DVD section. She said that was the only version they were carrying.
Has anyone else run into this at Target trying to find the WS set?

I guess I will have to get it at Wal-Mart instead.

I also went to Target only to see P&S on the shelf. I figured they were total idiots(they appear to be) and that's all they had, so I grabbed a flyer and went to BBuy to PM. No problem. 2nd PM in a week there.
The movies each have a semi-insert in it. No chapter listings, just a collage of pictures and quotes from the movie on one side, and an ad on the flip-side.
I'm popping in HG now...

Problem with Happy Gilmore?
Well, I'm a little past half way in the movie and I just encountered a problem. At a little past the 57:00 mark, during "the fight", there is a pause between two frames. There also appears a white dot on the screen during this pause. Then it jumps to the next frame. I'm not impressed. I saw this on both my players.
Anyone notice this?
Other than that, I'm not blown away by the transfer either.

i went into BB today to PM this with the target ad. the woman in line ahead of me also had this so i offered her my ad so she could save a few bucks too. the girl working the counter had to take the ad to her manager who told her that they wouldn't honor the PM because the pictures on the box weren't the same!! never mind that the moron was looking at the other side of a two sided package. so she put the stuff down and walked out.
i, on the other hand, put up a fight. i told the girl that it had to be the SE because that's the only SE of the movie. she asked another person who said it matched so i got the price match. sheesh, BB people are really stupid.

Just price matched at Wal-mart. Bastards. The first guy, a new clerk, was all 'sure, we can price match' and so he calls his trainer over. The trainer says 'sure, we'll price match it. Oh, you have two? No, we'll only price match one'.
WHAT? I told the guy I could go to Target and buy their whole friggin' stock for 15.99 each, and asked why on earth would they limit the price match. I told him I just wanted to buy my brother a Christmas present and get one for myself, and wondered silently whether Wal-mart's economic might would falter if they did give them both to me at the Target price. So he then calls a manager and she acts all put out (more from the two clerks than me it seemed, but she was still just damned unpleasant) and rings up the two of 'em at 15.99.
GAH!
Three people to do a price match. Well, it still took less time than it would have at Best Buy.

I ended up getting it at Circuit City for $17.99. The Target in the town where I live doesn't open til March, so I couldn't PM. I wouldn't have been upset with Target where I tried to buy it if they would have just put Full Screen only in their ad, so that I wouldn't have wasted a trip across town over my lunch.

Perhaps I may have been incorrect about the individual UPCs. I did glance at the individual discs, so maybe I just thought I saw them or something. Why I would make that up I don't know. Sorry.
