Spider-Man 2, which version??!!

Ok, so this tuesday, you can pick 3 different ways to get your Spidey fix. Superbit, 2-Disc SE, or Giftset (which includes the 2-Disc SE). I will probably pick up the Giftset, how about everyone else?

bodomnet 11-28-04 06:06 PM

2 Disc SE

rafaeljose 11-28-04 06:07 PM

Both. Had to try out this Superbit someday.

kar10 11-28-04 06:35 PM

I'm getting both The 2 Disc and the Superbit but for now I'm only getting the Superbit (DTS here we come).

ShagMan 11-28-04 06:43 PM

superbit here, not too excited about extras, just a good movie :)

matome 11-28-04 06:57 PM

Superbit

thelwig14 11-28-04 07:07 PM

Superbit

dgc 11-28-04 07:15 PM

Superbit for now.

I'll pick up a used/mint copy of the SE after ebay, half.com, hollywood video, blockbuster, etc... are flooded with them.

MiamiLoco 11-28-04 07:16 PM

Wow, a lot of Superbit love. Are the reviews saying that it's clearly better in A/V than the 2 disc SE?

phr33k 11-28-04 07:19 PM

superbit. FK the extras.

Zwerchfell 11-28-04 07:24 PM

I don't know yet I wonder how much better the tranfer is. I will probably go for Superbit.

TomOpus 11-28-04 07:37 PM

Giftset for me. I'm a sucker for that crap :) Plus early reviews has given very high marks for the non-SB in video/audio.

Doughboy 11-28-04 08:07 PM

I ordered the Superbit. I really wanted to see that 2-hour documentary, but I know I'll be kicking myself if I don't own the best-looking and sounding version of the film.

Damn you, Sony!!!

flashburn 11-28-04 08:10 PM

Superbit. I can just borrow/rent the second disk to check out the extra features, which I will probably only want to watch once anyway.

tommy28 11-28-04 08:57 PM

Ill wait for someone to compare the 2 disk against the super-bit....im only interested in Picture and sound...

so,LMK---quick;)

Same here Tommy, but I will more than likely stick with the SB unless there is barely any difference.

marty888 11-28-04 09:37 PM

SE

taa455 11-28-04 09:40 PM

SB for now. I might pick up the SE for the extras from columbia house sometime down the road.

Dazed 11-28-04 09:48 PM

Probably the SE since by the time I have a TV / Sound system capable of taking advantage of SB, ill have to buy the film again in HD ;)

seasmoke 11-28-04 10:08 PM

I will be picking up 2-Disc SE

ruk 11-28-04 11:02 PM

superbit

:hscratch: If you are only interested in picture and sound, then what comparison are you looking for? Superbit is your answer.

Pretty much where i stand as well. Don't forsee the funds to upgrade to components capable of seeing the Superbit difference any time soon, so it'll be the 2 Disc Special Edition for me.

wolverine1028 11-29-04 12:10 AM

2 disc SE

Dabaomb 11-29-04 12:49 AM

2-Disc SE for me since I'm a sucker for extras that I'll probably only watch once if that.
