From: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
The dvd of the first season of "The Simple Life" came out a day before the season of the show aired on television.
I think -1 day is the record right now.

yep, I thought it was a very funny movie. I you have to wonder if critics even have a sense of humor. I think it might have received better reviews had they released it around thanksgiving. I don't think to many people were ready for christmas prior to halloween..
in any case, I'll add it to my yearly christmas viewing..

The Friends season finale also came out the Tuesday following its Thursday premier. That's much shorter than two months.

Actually I think that record goes to From Justin To Kelly. It hit DVD around 6 weeks after the theater and bargain bins a few months after that.

I rented it and really liked it. I thought the previews were funny though, so go figure.
If you hate Affleck, then don't see it. Tony Soprano, C. O'Hara & Christina Applegate are all quite funny in this. The script drags a little at times, but there's still some good dark comedy in there.
Affleck is funniest when he's truly being a maniac, he's running around like he's on speed. O'Hara is the best thing about this film though. She has all the best lines, and delivers them with her usual dry wit.
I won't trash Christmas Kranks, but I would much rather see this than Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis in anything.
Surviving Chirstmas is a solid rental, and a different kind of Christmas comedy.
