Casper's Hitchcock class was great. I did not have time to take it, but my girlfriend at the time did and I would help her out with her papers. They were actually fun to write!

got way to excited when i saw this thread again....would love to have this as well as a warner set with some of the remaining silents...Champagne was supposed to air on turner last year, but they ended up running the farmers wife...apperantly no soundtrack had been found...soo turner was going to record a new one........wish they would lump a few unreleased films into a set like Chaney and Keaton.....
more news wanted....this is the last of the talkies i do not own.

Ive actually been looking for a movie similar to this called The Last Survivors starring Tom Bosely and Martin Sheen. I saw it on TV about 10 years ago and cannot find it anywhere. Anyone know where i can get a copy? I know its not on DVD or VHS. Maybe a boot?

That said, discussing bootlegs and where to get them isn't allowed here.

I have no personal experience, but I must say, from the Gangsters collection documentaries, the guy is downright creepy.
And what was his political agenda that you speak of?

king kong, song of the south, monster squad, kiss meets the phantom of the park...all have never been on dvd, but bootlegs are everywhere....
bootleg means someone who has no right to the film is producing it and making a profit.

Sorry to bump an old thread, I searched and this was the most recent one dealing with Lifeboat.
I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but DVDAF has the movie listed as an Oct. 18th release. Anyone heard anything about this? Did I completely miss the announcement?
Thought others would like to know too if it is "new" news.
Thanks.

Great! Same month as the Hitch Masterpiece Collection! 15 Hitchcock discs in one month!
Now if we can only ger re-releases of Spellbound, Notorious and Rebecca I'll have all the Hitch I want.

Yes. Actually, with Lifeboat coming out, everything is now available (save for really obscure, early stuff).
