Which stores are going to sell Star Wars at Midnight?
Anyone know? I don't have any 24-hour Wal-Marts near me, so I'm wondering if any other electronic stores are going to be open at midnight on the 21st.

With DDD and other online stores that deliver pre-orders on the Monday before the release date, why go through all that midnight release folderol? That's soooo 20th century!

I would like to know who (other than Meijer) will be selling this at midnight officially.

Well, my local Wal Mart pissed me off when they did the LOTR-ROTK release. For weeks they had one of those advertisements attached to their entrance gate thingies saying that there was a free bonus gift for buying the DVD between 12:01am to 5:59am. Only problem is that the sons of bitches weren't open then! I went up there just for that very reason and they were closed up, locked up tighter than shit. Oh, there were two guys in there setting up the display by the concession bar, but did they hear and see me beating on the door? Nooooo. I was pissed. If you're going to have a promotion, the least you can do is be OPEN FOR IT!

I was at a BEST BUY midnight sale for THE BEATLES 3rd anthology cd. And it's no big deal, it's not like you can go thru the store and shop around, your only allowed to grab what they are selling at midnight.

If I had the time I would probably get it at midnight, but seeing as I have a long day of classes on Tuesdays, and I value sleep, I think I'll go down that road.

I'm just stocked that Star Wars toys are still being produced! It's not 8 year old kids getting them ....it's 20+ year olds buying them. How sad....May the Force be with you!

I'm surprised so many people will be giving George Lucas more of their money.
If you're talking about double dipping, every studio does it. Look no further than Superbit, which is nothing more than a double-dipping scheme. If a consumer is willing to part with his money, don't blame the studio, blame the foolish customer. As Obi-Wan said, "who's the more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him." No truer words have ever been spoken.
Besides, why would you care what other people do with their money?

I fail to see how waiting in line can translate into any sort of fun whatsoever. But maybe that's just me.
