yep..especially after we dont even have the option to buy the original theatrical versions..
Or, there are many of us who like the changes, or most of them. Then again, most of the people who don't like the SEs, will buy the DVDs anyway.

The local WM Supercenter starts their 24 hr schedule in about a week, so I'll be there after work about 1:30 am if I don't get back on day shift by Sept 21. If I work days by then , then I'll be there right at 12:01 am

Can we not start with posts about the changes on the trilogy, please.

Every single Star Wars thread ends the same way... "George Lucas is the devil", "I hate the changes", "Lucas has every right to change his movies".

Enough already!

I'd be surprised if the majority of consumers even know about the changes.

That's a curious comment coming from someone who owns both Episode 1 and 2, not to mention every Star Trek DVD...hmmm...should we assume you are all apt to give gene roddenberry's estate more cash? Even though the star trek license has been sullied over and over by sub-par spinoffs?

If you haven't waited in line for any sort of "fan" event, then you're right, it's just you. Waiting in line, be it for days or a few hours, surrounded by people that you know share a common thing about you is fun. I've done it for both Harry Potter and Star Wars. You get to meet a lot of nice people. We're not all the "freaks" that the media unfairly tags us you know.

No need to resort to degrading remarks just because you don't "get" something or aren't as interested as we are in it.

All the big stores: CC, Bestbuy, Fry's, Tower Records, Suncoast

Everyone is going to jump on the bandwagon to get those consumer dollars.

I haven't gotten a preorder from DDD before 2 weeks after the release in over a year.

I'm surprized that there are still so many people who critisize the movies, the fans, and everything Star Wars that take the extra time and effort to constantly post on Star Wars threads which are obviously beneith them.

DDD shipping for me takes away too long! Rather not buy from them.
