Pirates of the Caribbean 3 disc set?

Was going through the preorders, and saw this:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...159855-6470219

Did I miss an announcement, or is this a repackaged double dip?

Hmm. Any details on what is on this set? I love the flick, and depending on what extras are included, I may just have to double dip.

I never heard any announcements about a new release... especially with it coming out in Nov, i would have thought we'd hear about it by now.

If this is true, why would they not just wait until the sequels?

DVDempire has it listed as well for 11-2. No specs though.

Is this a "tricked out" edition?

Shouldn't the brains at Disney wait for the sequel before releasing this?

I've never watched the extras on the 2-discer, so no reason for me to upgrade if this pans out.

I'll upgrade if the transfer is improved and the EE has been eliminated.

Pardon me for asking, but if you gave your copy away, why on earth would you want to buy it again?

Hometheaterinfo.com has some specs, but so far it sounds exactly like the current release.

I wonder if the 3rd disc is just the soundtrack to the movie?

blatant disney cash grab... unless they do something substantial I'm certainly not upgrading (and i've barely watched the extras on the 2 disc, so it'd have to be like extended kiera knightly nude scenes to make the 3 discer a purchase for me)

I don't think it's going to be worthy to upgrade, I already find the 2-disc to have plenty of extras. The commentaries, deleted scenes, and all the behind the scenes is great enough.

Probably due to the horrid video transfer.
