Anyone Else disappointed in the "new" digital transfer?

goes from great to crap in random spots.

And when Paulie and Tommy confront Henry about going back to his wife. There's a Huge LIne right down the Middle of Deniros face.

what gives?

Is that the scene which Pesci is often said to have written and directed himself?

A nice extra would have been an episode of "The Joe Pesci Show" from SNL with Jim Brewer, preferably the one where the real Pesci, DeNiro and Scorsese show up.

You're not the only one. Mine arrived Thursday. I sat down last night for a nice evening with some goombas and I, too, found two Disc 2s in my Goodfellas SE set.

The idea was his because it actually happened to him, but he didn't direct the scene.

That line is on the VHS copy, too, only it's a little more prominent with the cleaner picture. You would think this is something they could have removed. I mean, with today's technology, if they can erase wires from all these wire-fighting movies like Matrix and Charlie's Angels and what-not, why can't they eliminate a less-than-two-second line from the middle of the screen?

That's my little rant for the day.

All three are present on the commentary - although DeNiro and Pesci aren't listed on the back box cover as taking part...I'm guessing because it seems as if there comments were recorded earlier (perhaps back when the movie was made) and added to this track. But it's NOT a group commentary anyway...everyone seems to have recorded their bits on their own.
