First creating Jar Jar, now messing with the baddest bounty hunter ever. other than that 1 mistake (HUGE) the movies are great. Let me know what u guys think.

Did they at least re-dub the "Alert my Star Destroyer to prepare for my arrival" line with James Earl Jones?? If you are going to go and completely re-dub Bobba Fett's lines you should at least get that one right.

-notrolls-

Now I know you're a noob, but this voice change has been known about for quite some time now. You act like it's a big surprise. Hell, there's even a video clip that you could download that had all...THREE lines, Boba Fett had in TESB. The only line that one could detect a noticeable change was the "He's no good to me dead." line because of Temuera's Kiwi accent.

Real funny that a person can't express his opinion without being labeled a troll by the usual crew.

Now I know you're a noob, but this voice change has been known about for quite some time now.
Yes! Because you don't follow the minutaie of every change for the last 20 years of your life...you are not allowed to comment on the changes as you watch it. Pretty sad you are bashing people on them watching it and making comments.

hmmm. let me make a bet that you've never kissed a girl before? Eeelooooserrr..
And where are the people so eager to post funny little troll pictures? Thats a troll, threadcrap comment attacking another member but all of a sudden people shut up

Oh com'on chanster, you're only defending him because you agree with him. Conflict in interest don't ya think? Or at least a bit biased response.

Way to attack me and not the substance of my arguments. Classic response - a non-denial denial. A person watched the movies, and made comments..and yet you attack him as a troll. Its not unreasonable to think that Blockbuster has gotten the movies in, and its not unreasonable to thnk they are letting employees watch it.

I guess only positive reviews are allowed in the thread.

And you're only calling him a troll because you DISAGREE with him. I fail to see how that is any different.

Well, I think he said something that is very, very wrong. Allowing himself to get so worked up over a change to a movie that he announces his plans to send "a few hundred" death threats to the producer seems a bit over the top to me, and completely discredits anything else he has to say.

Fine, by that reasoning, people that say they like Star Wars are trolls too. You should leave as well as the others who praise it.
Goodbye, troll.

Nope. Sorry but this isn't one of those 2-way streets. If someone were to start a thread about the DVD release of a movie, the DEFAULT mindset of people who may want to post on it is because they LIKE the movie. Why click on something that you're not interested in or don't like right? So in DVD INFORMATION threads, it's not uncommon to find "praise" posts because those are the people who are happy about the thread subject itself. Not a really hard concept to grasp IMO. And lastly, from the "All About Threadcraps thread":

One commonly seen threadcrap is someone posting that "___________ is a crappy movie" in a thread dedicated to information about the movie's DVD release. The point of the thread isn't to discuss the quality of the movie, but to discuss the movie's DVD release.
Threadcrapper/troll. Same difference. Nice personal attack though by the way.

That is a buch of bull. Even your example is bull. The guy who was called a threadcrapper, troll said he like the movies, but he was upset about the change of voice. That is about the DVD

Tell me how these quotes have anything to do with Star Wars DVD information:

I tried watching, but for some reason it didn't air on publiv television in my area. Why, I have no idea. I'd be interested in seeing it as well.
According to Kershner, Lucas did direct most of ROTJ, with Kershner's assistant director doing some pickup shots. According to him, the actors did not respond well to Marquand, and he and Lucas ended up not getting along.
And here you are, threadcrapping in the thread:

I also started a thread in TV Talk already but since this one seems to be the most widely viewed, I'll ask it here as well. Anybody else read anything concerning this quote from tfn:

quote:Yesterday TFN was up in Los Angeles for the DVD press day sponsored by Lucasfilm and Fox Home Entertainment. We are pleased to announce that Lucasfilm confirmed officially a Star Wars television show coming in the future. They didn't comment on setting (post-Episode III or post-Episode VI we would guess)or release schedule (we expect Fall 2006). Either way - this is coming for sure!

Anyone else verify this? I think I've read most, if not all the reviews of the OT DVD by those who attended the event and no one else has mentioned this.
So why not regulate yourself and not post your non-DVD garbage in the other thread! In fact it seems like you admit you are violating 2 rules: posting the same message in two differen threads and posting a non-related message in a thread about DVDs.

Mind if I interrupt? Not sure if this is the right place to put this....
While doing some cleaning today I came across my wife's copy of the trilogy on VHS,an old version, and nowhere does it refer to the original movie as A New Hope.I thought this was done early on.Weird.

I don't think it says that on the box, but the title is there in the opening credits.. you know? After STAR WARS fades back, you should then see the title "Episode IV: A New Hope."

No it's not and you know it. Star Wars threads are different. You don't see anybody doing the same thing over here in any other dvd announcement thread right? Or even if it does, it's not as rampant anyway. I wasn't singling him out. Just responding to GMC's question.

Tell me how these quotes have anything to do with Star Wars DVD information:
Like I said, I wasn't singling anybody out. Feel free to call 'em out if you please. No one's stopping you.

Well in my defense I don't think my post was "garbage". It's at least more "refreshing" to read than "Luca$ sucks/raped my childhood/is a hack/stupid blah blah blah" don't you think? Or maybe you feel the opposite since you disagree with me.
