I really find it shocking that half of you still don't understand that "UNRATED" has become the latest marketing gimmick. they could sell two copies of the same movie with slight changes that really may not change the rating, but go under UNRATED simply because it wasn't re-submitted.

I hate to tell you guys but there is absolutely no difference in the theatrical and unrated cuts. I saw this in the movies and it had the exact same amount of nudity as in the unrated cut. The strip club scene and the prom/video scene were indeed in the movie. Unless there was some dialogue added in, this "Unrated" stuff was just a marketing scheme.

For a movie to get listed as 'unrated' - all they have to do is alter the film slightly (add or remove some scenes) and then not submit it for rating (which costs money).

I saw the film theatrically and watched the Unrated DVD just now - many scenes were missing from the theatrical presentation in this DVD. I was pretty pissed. Many of the scenes in the deleted and extended section were in the film when I saw it in theaters. I'm positive of it - as I was watching them, I remembered seeing them before and remembered them being in the film...
I saw the film five times prior to it's DVD release (four times in theaters and once in a hotel room), and everything in the rated theatrical cut made it to the unrated release.

No way - the scene in the diner where they discuss how old they are was in the film when I saw it in the theater - among others.
The only changes to the unrated cut are:
- The pornos Eli watches (when on the phone with Matt) are more explicit.
- When Matt storms out on Eli after being shown the tape, there's a brief shot of Eli tripping over a trashcan.
- The strippers who give Matt and Mr. Peterson are topless instead of being clothed.
- Before Matt and Kelly break into Hugo's house, Kelly has some additional dialog and there's a few more exterior shots of the area surrounding Hugo's house.
- The lesbian kissing scene in the limo is extended by a few seconds.
The changes don't total more than a minute (most of the changes just replace shots from the theatrical version), thus the identical runtimes on the box.
I've seen the theatrical version five times and the unrated version twice. I know what was changed, and what not. Now I just need Scott Shelton to defend my ass on this one.

I think that there was more than one theatrical cut.
I saw a sneak preview in February, and there's a good chance that things were changed before the eventual release a few months later.

The film was exactly the same during both sneak previews and what was released on April 9th.
The only reason the film was put back a month was so FOX could get more publicity for the film, not to change anything. Sadly, the plan backfired for FOX and the film tanked.

I'm not arguing anything about the rated dvd, just the theatrical version I saw.
I even asked my friend Alex, who saw the film twice with me, if he remembers that scene in there, and he says no.
I'm renting the rated DVD tomorrow just to prove your ass wrong.

renting the rated dvd won't prove anything since I'm not arguing about the content of the DVD, but the theatrical presentation. Same thing happened to Scary Movie... they relegated scenes from the film to the bonus features. Anyway - I know what I saw. I watched the film in theaters and then watched it on DVD... I noticed something was missing here and there. I watch the deleted and extended scenes and noticed that I had seen them before and that they were in the film. How else do you suppose I would've seen them? According to you, I would've been watching them for the first time, but I wasn't cuz I had seen them before. Maybe my theater got a different cut of the movie. I don't know.
