I have my Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness signed by Bruce Campbell. He did it when he was in Sacramento for a book signing with his "If Chins Could Kill" book.

Wow, seems like every other post reveals more Kevin Smith movies/sigs. Not a fan of the guy's work, but he seems pretty personable (I sat through his Comic Con thing last year).

Also cool that he makes himself so available to his fans.

Lol indeed

what I'm wondering is how much Kilmer will be charging. $10-$15 would be ok for me, anything higher would be 'no sale' for me.

I'm amazed. Kilmer was not known to be very personable, let alone do 2 signing sessions (and for quite a long time).

If anyone is planning on going to this, and would be willing to get something signed for me, I would gladly send you PayPal to cover the costs.

Please email me if you can.

Does anyone know how one can find out who is going to appear where?

Oh, and I guess this thread should also be here: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=356224

"Dont Look Back" autographed by D.A. Pennebaker
"Startup.com" autographed by Pennebaker & Chris Hedegus

Got those while they were in St. Louis a few weeks ago.

Was hoping to get a few autographs at the 2003 Chicago Wizard World convention, but that being my first big con, I didn't know everyone would want $20 each for autographs.

Actually I read somewhere that he did an appearance at an Auto Show a while back, so this didn't come as too much of a shock to me. Still, I would need to find out how much he's charging before I even consider going.

When I was living in NYC, I went to a test screening of Requiem that had a Q&A with Darren Aronofsky afterward. He's extremely laid back and cool.

Oh I forgot to mention regarding the Val Kilmer signing about a half a page up. They finally posted on the website that he'll be charging $30 an autograph this includes 'your choice of photo' of course, but that matters little as I never get sigs on those.

No thanks Iceman! You can't be my wingman!

only one I got is Dennis Farina on the Snatch dvd. Nice guy, meet him in Kosovo (I'm in the Army) while he did a USO tour. His wife took a pic of us and then 2 months later he sent me a card with a copy of the picture. He was cool.

Those of you who wrote to the person for an autograph, did you just send a DVD for them to sign and hope you get it back? Or write to them asking for a signed DVD? :P

I can't understand getting something signed through the mail. Takes all the fun out of it.

True, but if I could send my Blues Brothers DVD to Dan Aykroyd and get it back signed, I'll do it
