When I worked in TV news, we had George Wallace (the comedian) on as a guest, and I brought in my DVDs of 3 Strikes and Little Nicky in for him to sign (they were the only movies he was in that I owned on DVD). Unfortunately I was working on the show during his segment and had to have someone else get his sigs for me. And the boneheads gave him a PINK DRY ERASE MARKER to sign with.
Needless to say, there was barely any signature left when the discs got back to my office.

I've got RUDY signed twice by Sean Astin; once on the cover for me and once on the insert with a personal message for my daughter ("Go Irish")
My copy of SO I MARRIED AN AXE MURDERER has been signed by John Taylor. He plays the fiddler in the wedding scene. I didn't realize that he was in the film, but I had seen him many times at concerts and festivals and was surprised to see him. So I appraoched him at the next Texas Highland Games for his signature.
I also have a CED (the old RCA videodisc format) of TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE signed by Gunnar "Leatherface" Hanson and Kim Henkel (one of the screenwriters) both of whom said "what's this?" when I asked him to sign.
Peter Riegert is coming to town for a screening of his new film. I intend to ask him to autograph my laserdisc of LOCAL HERO.

He also signed a little promo card he had for a SCTV Season 1 for a friend of mine who couldn't be there - the friend had introduced me to Strange Brew in the first place many years ago. As he was signing it, he stopped and said 'You can't write over John Candy', so 'Thomas' was way over on the other side of the card.
I just found out that Bruce Campbell will be doing a signing and movie screening this coming week, I'm really looking forward to it - I figured I and my fiance will each take one of the LE's of AOD (my favorite Bruce-based movie thus far).
My little display area-to-be - the McKenzie record/signed dvds/McFarlane toys of 'the Great White North', then smaller Ash and Evil Ash McFarlane(s) / Bruce signed DVDs.

Cool! I didn't realize that anime DVD autographs existed, very neat.
As for me, no signed DVD's, just an autographed NAPKIN from Robin Williams. It was a napkin or a dollar bill. Besides, it's a great conversation piece.
