Would you have bought these movies if they didn't have the Criterion label on them? I often wonder if we're more obsessed with the fact that they are Criterion releases than anything else.
Here is my modest Criterion collection:
Silence of the Lambs
Robocop
The Rock
Traffic
The Royal Tenenbaums

I just have a few:
Royal Tenenbaums
8 1/2
M
Third Man
Brazil
Chasing Amy
Unbearable Lightness of Being
None were blind buys (although I have a few I haven't seen yet on my Christmas list), and all are movies I probably would have bought even if there was no Criterion.
