Still Waiting... DVD Case
I just purchased Still Waiting (the sequel to Waiting) and I noticed the inside of the dvd case is different. It is very flimsy and it has a stenciled recycle logo carved on it. The dvd case is made by Viva(Eco-Box). So is Viva making there cases different? And what do you think of the new design?

I've seen a few pics of those cases, ad they look like a bad idea to me. But the idea behind the logo is that the case is made of less plastic, and thus better for the environment.

This topic is about cases like this: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/dvd-talk-co...-nonsense.html
Also, I believe this should go in the DVD Cases subforum.

Yeah, These are the new Lionsgate cases as it pretty much seems. I noticed them recently on W. and The Midnight Meat Train. I had to change both of the cases because they are very flimsy and just stupid looking.

Re: Still Waiting... DVD Case
I just bought the new release of Wallace & Gromit in "The Wrong Trousers", and it had that same kind of case. An obvious downside is potential damage to the cover insert. Not only does squeezing the box wrinkle/crease the cover art as it's forced through the open sections of the "recycle" logo (not to mention the large hole beneath the disc), the security sticker could have very easily have become adhered to the cover through those same openings. Luckily mine wasn't, but I wonder how many covers will be damaged by this misguided and impractical design.
