I really wanted to get the 12 Monkey Steelbook, but I'm really not comfortable ordering from international sites. Maybe cause, I heard of so many bad things going on with mail orders. But, I'm really happy you got one RAM..Cool

I'm bummed it has the rating on the front of it. Hopefully it is just a sticker, if not I may have to run the old permanent marker over my copy. The picture on Amazon.co.uk did not have that rating on it, I feel like I've been lied to
.
And yeah, it's definitely a little troublesome that they crammed Part II onto one disc.

i tried to translate the German review about "The Godfather II": Of it with the new edition distance was taken, spendiert also to this over 3 hours long film only a DVD-9. Thus the compression is here clearly stricter and shows in the background, along edges and also in fine structures, quite clear block building. Contrary to the old German DVD the picture is somewhat more sharply and also substantially brighter also with the second part, whereby the brightness in some scenes is disturbing also something and one could improve within the range of the sharpness still easily. The contrast besides somewhat steeply failed, this tempts the straight bright display spaces to bloomings. By the granulation of the Filmmaterials the picture rushes besides easily, a small number of similar defects is likewise available. The display format is again minimum open of matte.

You can get it elsewhere for 8.75 Euro ($13.77 USD) + shipping but forum policy prevents me from posting the name of the vendor.

I do not have the Steelbook, so I am unable to answer your second question. Maybe scott1598 can answer that question for you?

Ok, I have someone in Germany that is visiting at the time. He told me he saw the 12 Monkeys, Smokin Aces and Ice Age I & II in steelbooks. He wanted to know if I wanted him to bring them back for me, but he informs me they are about $45 US each. Is that correct...does anyone know what they really should be going for? I don't really understand the Eur vs US cost. I was hoping no more than $25 or $30, but $45 seems alittle overly priced. Any ideas?
