actually, i bought the R2 SteelBook, but already HAD the R1 DVD so i just bought and swapped. easy squeezy R1 peezy 
as i "gotta support the team".
that is what i do with most and generally stick to the movies i love and a SteelBook with no foreign langauge on it, that way to my eyes it is a perfect R1 original.
