Indeed! I pre-ordered a Death Proof steelbook and TWO Transformers steelbook! And i just found out in this thread that there's gonna be a Spider-Man 3 steelbook? Good lord! For once DVD wise i LOVE living in Canada! All these great exclusive steelbooks!

I'm finally a lame-ass now. I just spent 70$ including taxes and
shipping for ONE movie...

I just HAD to! I guess the collector in me won. I just thought this movie was so kick ass on so many levels and like i said before i'm such a sucker for cool artwork/packaging and Decepticon/Autobot steelbooks doesn't get much better than that!

I just wish i could find a laminated Transformers poster so i get put a shelf next to it with my two steelbooks and the Mr. Potato Head 'Optimash Prime' that my girlfriend bought me yesterday!

I don't know what i'm gonna do with the extra discs i get. Anyone wanna buy two Transformers discs without the packaging? :P

New For Future Shop coming up JungleBook

I'm scared that Futureshop won't have the Planet Terror steelbook! They have the Death Proof steelbook which i pre-ordered but when i search for planet terror they only have the normal 2 disc version to pre-order.

I imagine that if they have the Death Proof steelbook they MUST also get the Planet Terror but Oct 16th is gettin kinda close and they don't even have an ad for it!

I'm scared! I want both steelbooks damnit!

Futureshop has listied Die Hard and Die Hard 3 as steel book exclusive.. What happened to Die Hard 2?

The Die Hard's are the 2-disc Collector's Editions? They have the same artwork as the 1-disc versions.

That's probably not the final artwork, but if it is just the 2007 1-disc versions I'm definitely not double dipping (triple dip on DH:WAV)

not sure if this has been asked already, but what do you guys do with the paper slip on the back of the steelbooks that is either attached loosely or not at all? it's annoying that it doesn't fit in the case...

I fold it in half and put it in the case.

I like Steelbooks as much as the next guy, but at $30+ a pop are a bit too rich for my blood. But do the Future SHop exclusives hold their value?

yea, i folded them in half too, as i figured most people would do. i don't really care about every part of the dvd release being in mint condition, but was wondering about those that like everything to be perfect. i suppose those people end up either not opening the dvd or buying 2 copies.

When I went to Best Buy Saturday I noticed that Dune had two different metal cases, one that looked like Dune in the pic below, and the other one looked just like a steelbook. I put it next to the X2 steelbook and everything appeared to be the same So has anyone else seen this.

I checked on Futureshop, and it says that they are all 1-Disc. Are you saying the listing is wrong?
