From: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
Yeah, they've been doing nearly every release in keepcases for the past two months. I believe Mystic River was one of the last holdouts (to encourage people to buy the 3-disc set, which was packaged in a cardboard digipak).
Time will tell, but their keepcases of late are a GOOD THING.

Amazon is showing Name of the Rose in a snapper case - so maybe we get to be disappointed after all:

No, it's in a keepcase. I've seen it with my own eyes.

Rusty James says that he's seen the actual product and it's in a keepcase. I don't see any reason to doubt him.

Yes, why doubt the word of Cool New Members who post that they have in their hands copies of discs that haven't been sent to reviewers yet?

It's a keepcase. Trust me on this. Why would I make it up? I know a little skepticism is healthy, but dude, relax. We're talking about a friggin' DVD case here.

And by the way, I'm just a plain old member now. No longer cool or new. Sigh.

Maybe because he's been around for 2 years? Maybe because there's no possible reason to lie about something so frickin trivial? Maybe just because it's the polite thing to do?

Not really surprising to see no insert-WB's never had a need for them before now.

Just commenting on the fact that they're not there, and it doesn't matter.
