Here' already a review of the DVD:

Guess it's the first one.
Seems like Columbia delivered the goods. Sounds like a killer release.
I will, however, hold out for the Director's Cut in November.
Hate the wait, though.

Yesterday, sat in on the panel for the Hellboy DVD. The menus are really cool... they were done by the person that did The Lord of the Rings so that will give you an idea of the quality.

When they started to play the disc, del Toro said "Go past the forced trailers" so you're warned about those.

As a bonus for showing up at the panel, del Toro showed up where the Easter Eggs were. I believe there were 5 between the 2 discs.

The only forced trailer is for Julianne Moore's new film, "The Forgotten" (which is an interesting looking trailer anyway).

The documentary is almost 2 1/2 freaking hours long! SAH-WEET!

The sound on this thing is spectacular and the menus are very captivating.

I fell asleep last night during the movie (sorry, I was exhausted!) so I'm hoping to catch up on the rest of the features tonight (and search for eggs!).
