Cept for that little thing about Police Academy being full-frame. They lose points (and sales) for that...

Not the fourth and fifth. I would have snapped up the boxed set in a second.

Are those really keepcases? Can we expect these to come in those? I am so ready to re-add Goodfellas to my collection. I feel it is the best mob movie ever made (my fiancee, who is a Godfather fan disagrees).

I'm also looking fwd to the other films as well. Sadly, I must admit I've never seen them. What a great chance to get to view them. Thanks to the OP.

BTW, beautiful cover art for Goodfellas.

Sorry ruk... didn't mean to be rude. I'm one of the less-rude people around here . You've been around here long enough to know this.

That said, I'm sure I could've worded my reply better... cool?

Just to answer someones question a page or so back. The boxset does indeed include all of the films, including Goodfellas. At least according to the press materials in front of me anyway.

It's almost too good to be true. I anticipate this release more than the Star Wars box set.

That menu screenshot of the commentary options are hilarious:

The Cast and Crew Commentary
The Cop and Crook Commentary

It's the same cover as before, which is hardly beautiful at all, floating torsos and all!
Mean Streets looks the same too. I'm not impressed with the minimal amount of effort in the artwork for these releases.

I hope the discs themselves are worth it.

We still don't know if Goodfellas will be split among the two-discs like the previous flipper. I presume the movie will be on disc 1 with commentary, etc. and all the other features on disc 2. I hope so.

I sure hope they don't mess this up!
