Over 3,300 titles. Maybe way more since I haven't been doing a good job tracking them lately. If laserdiscs are added in it's nearly 5k

Small quibble - I disagree with your "rules of counting" in that I would allow the Alien Quadrilogy as 4 titles but a season of X-Files or any TV series as 1

WOW! I bought my first DVD player on May 3, 2000, nearly precisely 4 years ago!

I count the way DVD Profiler counts, in fact that's the number that I entered (201-300) - so it's 284. In DVD Profiler it counts BTTF as 1 title, even though it's 3 separate movies. The Adventures of Indiana Jones, even though 3 movies, is counted as only 1 by DVD Profiler, so that's the way I count it too.

You can see a picture of my collection at www.geocities.com/danwiz47 - it's in row 12 at the bottom. As you can see from the title, the picture is a few months old now. I need to take a new picture.

I've got about ten or so now. I finally realized I was just throwing money away by buying DVDs just for the hell of it. I'd rather spend the extra $ on other things like renewing my gym membership, eating healthier, give money to Mom, etc.

The ones I have now are my favorites; ones that I can stand watching over and over again.

I've got somewhere between 150 and 200, mainly because I'm constantly buying and selling stuff. Every few weeks, I'll take an intentory...if I haven't watched it in a while, it might just go up for sale. Of course, it's been much harder to "trim the fat" since I've been getting free screeners from Geoff...

I think I barely own 50. Over time I may get up to the 100's (especially when I have more income) but as it stands now netflix is good enough for most movies. I just don't feel the need to own that many movies/sets(never been a real big rewatcher).

1295 DVD's. A DVD is a disc. That's how I count them.

About 10 or so. Will have about 30 before the year ends. Many are coming out I will want.

I used to own over 100, but never really used them or watched them, so I sold them.

Now, I only buy things I know I will watch at least a few times a year.

About 1020. Using the DVD Profiler method of counting everthing with a barcode.

327 according to DVD profiler. I have a couple extras that haven't been put in though, that may not technically be counted as titles. DVDs such as those that come with new CDs.

I stopped counting at the 1500 mark. I probably have about 2000 by now.

Ummm
That's what I've been thinking also. And I count The Godfather Box set as three titles, Back to the Future as three, and so on and so on.
