How can you count Alien Quadrilogy as 1??? It has got to be at least 4! It is 4 separate movies, and even those are spread on 2-discs each with different versions of the movies. No way in heck you count that as 1...do you?
Ummm

Around 750, counting somewhat the way you do... I count separate movies as separate discs, and I count anything that has separate cases with upcs, although I count a TV season in a single case as 1.

Somewhere between 200 and 300, closer to 200 (I hope). I try not to keep too accurate a count b/c I have this guilt complex about owning so many (which is why I like visiting this forum, as my collection pales next to many other people's). I just bought two more today...

I count this way also. Using that count (also DVD Af's titles count), I have 539. The Monster Legacy is a weird one, as DVD Af has it at 14 titles.

Around the 450 mark for me.

BTW, The Back to the Future Trilogy = 3. A box set with more than one film shouldn't count as only one unless it's a television series.

Currently own 49 titles. Tv series are counted as one title, movies are counted individually. And the amazing thing is I've had my DVD player only for four years.

About 215, with 15 or so older releases to get. I figure about 20 more new releases this yr... Yikes, i guess that'll put me at about 250 end of this yr!

But its pretty much new releases from here on out, so that and filtering out some lesser-watched titles every yr should keep me below 300 for awhile.

Been collecting for 5 1/2 yrs. So basically about 3 a month, not bad.

A little over 300, I lost count since I stopped updating my website about 6 months ago.

1st DVD player and DVD bought on my Birthday four years ago (almost to the day).

300 divided by 48 months = 6.25 DVDs per month.

Avg cost of a normal DVD is about $17 with tax, $17 x 300 = $5,100.00 total for all my DVDs...Ouch!
