they could have least shown us some of the censored scenes in still gallery format from the many stills that were published in magazines like Fangoria and Cinefantastique ... oh well.

"teh" has become accepted spelling of "the" in most online forums nowadays, sort of an on-purpose typo. I suspect the guy that posted that was being a smartass.

I am very dissapointed with the upcoming set. I already have 1,2 and 4 on DVD. Looks like sometime soon I'll have to pick up the others I don't have for 9.99 or so.

Oh, zombie359, zombie359, zombie359.

Stop.

Just stop.

Your online protests will come to nought.

Remember when you petitioned for a Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 SE? Did it happen? No.

Remember when you petitioned for a trilogy box set of Romero's Dead Trilogy? Did it happen? No.

Do you see a theme here?

You don't know what will be on the Paramount box set of the F13 films.

So stop.

Please.

For your own sake.

I can't type very well, so I keep doing it by accident. It's awful, isn't it?

Well it's already become "are" on several occasions. Don't get me started on "they're", "there", and "their".

If they promise to stop making these freakin movies, I'll join your pesky boycott.

(I'm not 100% certain, but I think my grandparents may be on board too.)

At least he spelled "gay" correctly.

Yeah, but what helped get Family Guy back on the air, was so many people buying the box sets, not by people not buying them.

Seriously, the quandary here is that if you simply don't buy it then, does that really send the intended message, or could that be interpreted by those at Paramount as simply a lack of interest in the series.

Kinda damned if you do, and damned if you do the other...

[splitting hairs] It's "acceptance." [/splitting hairs]

You can fight for proper spelling, more power to you. Just make sure you don't look like a hypocrite.

This is so silly. Why would I boycott a product for which I have waited years. I would love uncut editions, but they don't have them. End of story. I am going to enjoy these and hope that some uncut transfers will surface in the future.

The decision to put Family Guy back on the air was made because of the high sales of the DVD sets. It had nothing to do with boycotts or online petitions. Your point is irrelevant.

Okay, calm down, I was none too pleased with this either, it sounds completely stupid, but lets keep this in mind:

NOTHING HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED, so lets calm down about this. I'm not trying to start a fight or anything, but nothing has been offically announced, and the bonus disc is going to have cut scenes on it.

The One thing people need to realize about Friday the 13th is that all the movies where filmed at least 15 years ago if not longer ago, and that they were very low budget to begind with. Alot of the Deleted/Alternate Scenes and behind-the-Scenes footage probably is not around any more. I am dissapointed in the fact that not every movie will have a commentary and the lack of deleted Scenes do suck, but still this will be the best way to get the Friday the 13th Series. What the fans have to do is look on the bright side: The Movies will be in Widescreen, There will be 5 Commentaries, and over 3 hours of supplement features. The Original releases cost $29.99 a pop and the only feature (on some of them) was a Trailer. Now There will be a set of all eight movies that will be less than $80 (which means that even with the price cuts of the other films this will still be cheaper). So if you don't ahve the movies on DVD already this is how one should buy thme (I myself didn't buy the previous cause I found thim expensive, but this I will definatly not buy), but if all of you out there that don't have the originals but would rather buy them than this set, then just grow-up stop complaining and alot more money for alot less!!!!!
