Where's your store at? I could use the multi-million dollar settlement.

well, sir...maybe your store has employees instead of worthless *******s. I'll be taking a few months off from shopping for films at BB....it's just a horrid experience. as far as knocking me out.... maybe this means I should go back in and give a good slap to all those employees who are infected with an even worse attitude.

I just went to BB to get this along with Friends season 7. I needed to get 2 copies of Friends season 7 because both my brother and my girlfriend wanted a copy. The ad states save $10 instantly when you buy any 2 seasons, so when I got to the register I asked if I would save $10 if I got 2 of the same season. He scanned them in, and it worked. Great thing is, he forgot to scan the Matrix DVD and stuck it in the bag anyways. So I got a free copy of Matrix Revolutions

Been watching some of the extras on the DVD and they're pretty cool. I'm glad I finally have the trailers on a DVD. As far as the bonus cd-rom, there's only one desktop image that's 800x600, which sucks, and the screensaver pretty much sucks. I was hoping they would have a top-notch quality Matrix code screensaver, like what you see on the screens in the movies. Oh well, I guess it was too much to ask

FYI, the full trailers for Matrix and Reloaded were on the Best Buy bonus disc that came with Reloaded.

Make sure you get the right one.
Sigh, guess who picked the WRONG ONE and opened it!?! Today just wasn't my day. Now I am stuck trying to think of who might want to trade with me.

Ha, you'd knock a customer out for having a bad attitude? Let me know which store that is so I NEVER go there. In the end, help SHOULD at least SOMEWHAT put up with the customers. No customer, no job.

Anyway, DVD looks nice. I liked the film very much so...looking forward to weeding through the extras.

I made the mistake of looking for the dumb bouns disc and could not find a copy until I dug into a stack on the bottom. Sooo I get home to realize I picked a full screen copy had to trek back and exchange.

You aren't missing anything if you don't get the "Bonus CDROM". It's a waste of effort unless you want to hear interesting noises from your drive.

Take it easy on the Best Buy employees, not like they are suggestive selling at the register for fun. You can usually see the pain when you look into their eyes and they give the speech. Trust me, they would much rather just ring you out without the stupid spiel.

What made my eyes roll is that in that cardboard box near the front of the store they have the movie in, they put the full-screen version at the top, and you've got to bend down to find the wide-screen copies.

I don't know why anyone with a DVD player and a shred of common sense would buy full-screen. Nor do I understand why WalMart would put full-screen on top of wide-screen.

My 13 year old son made me crack up tonight. We went in to the local WM and faced the same cardboard box as you and arranged the same way. I grabbed my WS copy and started looking through a pile of 2 for $11 discs nearby. I turn around to see where my son is and find him rearranging the Matrix DVDs to place the FS on the bottom shelf and the WS on the top. Then he's covering the all FS with the WS copies. Yup I raised him right.

I'll have to agree with this...regardless of the problems at my BB, which go much deeper than just check-out time. in no way to I expect every store to be the same...there have been too many issues at my store that magnify things. my apologies to the original thread-starter for letting my emotions of the day get the best of me. I should have never went down that path and I usually know better. sorry for crappin'.

...

as soon as I'm through with The Grapes Of Wrath...I'm startin' up the new Matrix dvd. didnt really want the rom disc so I passed.

Picked it up earlier from BB and didn't even know there was a Full Screen Version. Luckily I picked up the WS version w/ the bonus disc.

As I thought this would be a discussion about The Matrix Revolutions DVD and not another "Why Best Buy Suckeke(sic) And The Employees Are Total Morons" thread, I'd like to address a quote that actually deals with the DVD. Let me at least defend my honor as a moronic Smurf though... Well, there's no real honor in that. The truth is, we do offer some services that would benefit people. The thing is, it's not anything people couldn't get elsewhere (like online). I understand it's a way to get the company (and according to them, its employees... *coughbullshitcough*) more money. Do I like offering people magazines? Hell no. At my store, apparently it's part of my job. The sick thing is, we have so many of those damn one-sheet ads everywhere that's it's like, "Welcome to Best Buy... we sell magazines here... Oh, and some DVDs and electronics and stuff." Part of the reason I even offer the damn things is so that I can get rid of all those damn ads littering my section. Seriously, if you've been to my store, it's ridiculous. The whole thing is annoying to both the customer and to most of the people I work with. But it's not gonna change no matter how much anyone complains. It's unfortunate, but right now, I need this job that I'm disgustingly overqualified for. I just hope I get out in time before I start the great Best Buy mantra... "one of us, one of us".

You don't know how true that is!

Now, as far as this goes:

I've got a question as to whether my disc is acting up or if it's supposed to sound like this -- at the 14:15 mark, when the scene ends and the train moves across the screen from right to left, there's a distinct "wop wop wop" sound in the L speaker, then followed by the train sound in the R speaker. Does everyone else's DVD exhibit this? Just wondering, as it's a unique sound...
I noticed this too, and even rewinded it to make sure I wasn't imagining it. I wonder if this is how it was supposed to sound or if it's a major screw-up. No sense in exchanging my disc, I guess, as it doesn't appear to be "defective". Didn't notice mentioned in any of the reviews I read, but then again, I only read two.
