I'll be at walfart...at midnight.

I wonder if BB will do a midnight gig?

My So-Called Life for me. I can't even remember how long it was, but it was a really, really long time. At least a year, but it was probably longer. I've tried to block out all memory of that transaction.

Well, I was waiting for them to list it, but decided to go ahead and order from Amazon. Although I might change. The ironic thing is that DDD is out of Chicago, and I live in Southern Illinois, and sometimes it takes 10 days for me to receive a package from them while at other times, I've gotten things as quick as 2 days later. All with their Free Shipping method. I think I'll stick with the 3-5 Day UPS shipping rate with Amazon on this one.

In the late 90s, I preordered "Hard Day's Night: SE" from Buy.com that had a tennative release date of Jan 1, 2099.

My version is going to be SOOOO much better than the one all of you suckers bought last year.

1998, pre-ordered Ed Wood from some online merchant taking pre-orders for it. Don't think they are still around. Still waiting for Ed Wood! : )

I'm kind of surprised at the number of people pre-ordering the Star Wars Box set.

This is one of those DVDs that I wouldn't think the diehards would want to wait around for to be delievered. There are things that you save money on by ordering online, but there are things that you must have first day.

I always thought Star Wars would be first day.

Plus, between Best Buy and Wal*Mart, it seems I can get it cheaper on release day than pre-ordering. But then... YMMV
