Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation
Two Days in the Valley

Both were $4.88 and I wouldn't part with either.

Is there a specific time that you go to find a better selection in the bin? I mean is the bin replenished every Tuesday when new DVD shipments come in? Whenever I go I can't find crap, it's all a bunch josie and the pussycats and various Mexican movies and stuff.

It's a Van Damme fest in our bargain bin with a couple cool titles:

The Quest
Universal Soldier
Hard Target

There were a few others but I didn't remember their names. It would be cool to pick up Dark City and Private Parts. I've been holding off forever getting those.

How is it that Walmart and Best Buy seem to have similar selections in their bargain bins? I've seen many that are listed here and ones at Best Buy (which is all I go to). Do the studios deem these titles as budget or is it strictly retail store discretion?

Anyway, seeing from here "Suicide Kings" I too found it in Best Buy's today for $5.99...that was a sweet pick up!

It is the retail prices for most of the discs. Even though Best Buy carries Vanilla Sky and Talented Mr. Ripley for twice as much as the bargin bin.

I'm just guessing it's an indication of uncomming SE's, and very smart move on Paramount's move. Unload all the old copies for cheap, that way no one really objects to upgrading since they basically paid the price for a rentel.

Yeah, I saw The Simple Life, Talented Mr. Ripley, and Vanilla Sky, all three of which I bought on release day/week, for much more than $5.50.

Great titles.

I think the best disc in the bin is still Wall Street. Great movie, good extras - you can't go wrong.

But some other good ones are:

Diabolique (remake)
Finding Graceland
Point of No Return
Freddy Got Fingered
Bedazzled
Ford Fairlane

Just picked up Way of the Gun and Titan A.E.

I could have dug in there all day. I'm sure there were some other deals hidden in the depths of that bin. But since my wife and I consider a trip to Wal-Mart the same as a journey to the seventh circle of hell, I'm not sure when I will be going back.

Remember, most are Full Screen unless they only come in WS editions.
