That floored me as well. Given the extras Media Blasters has, there is absolutely no reason to buy the Blue Underground version for me. I guess that Lustig and Sirabella know their market and will both make money, but I still harbor some doubts.

MB's erratic quality control (to be kind) is the wildcard, of course.

Regardless, MB better keep the same cover art they were showing before:

the cover looks great.

Noooooooo.....

The cover Anchor Bay used has been in use for ages.

The one shown above (off a Japanese poster, possibly? I don't recall at the moment) is much better, IMO.

I don't think an illustration of a zombie horde descending on NYC is 'cheery', but that's just me

Have to say i agree as well...it wouldn't look out of place if it had the words 'Criterion Collection' on the top either..i consider it that good

Criterion and Fulci. Now there would be an unusual pairing.

Kurosawa, Hitchcock, Bergman.....Fulci

(it would be especially amusing if Criterion released Zombi 2, but under it's UK name:

the Criterion Collection presents....Zombie Flesh Eaters)
