I dont own the other two so I'll try and resist this in favour of a box set that they will probably bring out later.

Cant wait for the EE though!!!

I'll get the Theatrical cut and save my money for the sales on the first two EE.

Great, can't wait!

I'll probably just end up renting this version, or borrowing it from somebody. But, I'm definitely buying the EE when it comes out.

I buy both versions for LOTR. I like the extended cuts of these movies better, so I just keep the theatrical release's disk 2 and give away or sell disk 1 when the extended versions come out.

Both please! And so soon too! Great! I have the previous two films in dual editions and that's the only way, if you're a true fan of the films. The extras are different and more importantly the films are different and the theatrical editions are actually Peter Jackson's prefered cuts. So both editions, it's not even a choice.

Where is the music video??

Both of the previous releases had the music video, and this one won the best song at the Oscars.

Why is it not here?

Everything else looks good though.

Well, you'll only have to wait until September for the Return of the King: EE.

Since they aren't doing post on a new film, they can get the Extended version out early.

Nope, I have heard from multiple sources that they still plan on releasing the EE in November. Sorry.

However, without overhead of the five additional audio tracks, the disc has potential to allocate far more bits, when necessary.

So I'm guessing by the color of the plastic that the EE book will be blue?

The fact that they still waiting for Nov makes me feel good that they will still put in 110% like the other EE's.

Why rush it?
