Coming In May: Slaughterhouse-Five, Nighthawks & More!
Due on May 11th are The Border, The Night of the Following Day, Nighthawks, Renegades and Shakedown. On May 25th look for the war films Battle Hymn, Gray Lady Down, No Man is an Island, Slaughterhouse-Five, To Hell and Back and Wake Island. All come with fullscreen transfers, except for The Night of the Following Day, Nighthawks, No Man is an Island and Slaughterhouse-Five which are anamorphic widescreen. Retail is $14.98 apiece.

That's great about Slaughterhouse Five. I really like that movie, and it was already OOP before I started collecting DVDs.
Too bad about some of the other titles being FS (unless that's OAR, which I doubt). I probably would've purchased Gray Lady Down (OAR 2.35:1 according to IMDB) since I like sub movies.

I was a huge Emerson, Lake & Palmer fan. I belonged to the Emerson fan-club and they gave me 2 free passes for the film when it was in theaters.

If you hurry, you could probably get $40 or $50 for it on E-bay, before word spreads that it's coming back in print.
I mean, there's a few on there new with pretty high prices, and heavy bidding.

I watched "Slaughterhouse 5" years ago. Can't remember if it was before I read the book, or after.
I'd say it was at least "okay." The book was better, though. I'll probably pick up the DVD if I see it on a store shelf for under ten dollars.
