That's great about Slaughterhouse Five. I really like that movie, and it was already OOP before I started collecting DVDs.

Too bad about some of the other titles being FS (unless that's OAR, which I doubt). I probably would've purchased Gray Lady Down (OAR 2.35:1 according to IMDB) since I like sub movies.

The Night of the Following Day is one of the most obscure Marlon Brando films. If I remember correctly he plays a kidnapper.

I was a huge Emerson, Lake & Palmer fan. I belonged to the Emerson fan-club and they gave me 2 free passes for the film when it was in theaters.

Anyone wanna buy my Slaughterhouse Five DVD for $100? :)

If you hurry, you could probably get $40 or $50 for it on E-bay, before word spreads that it's coming back in print.

I mean, there's a few on there new with pretty high prices, and heavy bidding.

Is Slaughterhouse-Five any good? I just finished the book, would seem hard for any film to do it justice.

I watched "Slaughterhouse 5" years ago. Can't remember if it was before I read the book, or after.

I'd say it was at least "okay." The book was better, though. I'll probably pick up the DVD if I see it on a store shelf for under ten dollars.

The Border?

The 1982 Jack Nicholson film?

I'm there.

Yes! I almost ordered his last week (R4 has it out in OAR) but fortunately held off!

I think it's pretty good. A little odd (no surprise, given the source material) and somewhat cheesy in parts, but it does a decent job of a book you would think might be unfilmable.
