Mr. Prior, I'm glad to hear that you're producing the set.
This went from a rental to a purchase for me based on that info alone.

Try telling that to the Star Wars fans regarding George Lucas and the SE versions of the original trilogy . . .
I actually asked him what he thought of revising movies after they've been finished. He made a face like he'd smelled something bad.
And jough, that's very nice to hear. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I hope you enjoy the final product as much as I enjoyed working on it.
Cheers,
David Prior

I never really pay attention to the cover art, but that looks like an awesome cover. And it's nice to see DTS being included with the 2 disc set. I'll be picking this one up for sure.

Oh, and I'm planning on getting this set... wasn't that thrilled about the film the first time I saw it. After reflecting on it, it's nice to see someone do a film that really shows the true historical aspects of seafairing life - not all the swashbuckling and heroics, but the true brotherhood between the crew and their captain. If you see Mr. Weir again, tell him he's got a lot of fans here! And the set should be great!

Panic Room in March and Master and Commander in April - it's like a double-shot of DVD goodness.
Can't wait.

Yes, and that's probably my favorite Lebowski quote in your signature.

And yes, welcome to the board - you'll find many fans of your work here. Just hope the more rabid ones don't scare you away.
