Is it too late to lobby them to express our desire for it to be at the very least a quality anamorphic transfer?

It's about time! I wonder if they're finally getting around to releasing this because John Ritter's in it, or if it's just a coincidence. Anyway, I'll definitely be buying it.

While amazon.com and dvdempire.com both have it for pre-order, Disney's video.com still doesn't mention if it's widescreen or not(!) The laserdisc was widescreen so we can hope.
