Just because it's sells great in HK does not mena it is not a bootleg and since the majority of DVD's sold in HK are indeed bootlegs it stands to reason thgese are boots! And since the link now says Invalid Item (meaning it was pulled by eBay) it further shows it's illegitimacy.

One of the funniest things about the asian homevideo market is how asians that live there think their video industry is legitimate. "Oh I have a friend who lives in HK and they sell those at the grocery store, so she says they MUST BE legit."

This is the biggest hurtle to fighting piracy: Making people who have unknowingly been buying pirated items for decades realize that the stuff is illeagle.

Link is dead.

Does someone have a link to the set sold by a HK retailer so I can see what everybody's talking about?

Which is a pretty sure sign that it's a bootleg. eBay will only remove an auction like that when the legitimate copyright holders complain. MGM had it yanked.

No major studio will release an R0 now. If it is R0, chances are near certain it is a bootleg.
