Just saw a print ad for the DVD of Underworld. In big letters it says:

"Vampires. Werewolves. Romeo & Juliet was never like this!"

There goes that marketing department again.

I saw this DVD on the shelves of Movie Gallery yesterday. I thought that it was out early.

Yeah, I read that review... I was kind confused by it. The reviewer in his final thoughts called the movie a mess, but never pointed out what the mess actually is in the film, except for mentioning "goofy" dialogue and supporting characters that weren't developed...where's the mess?!? I would hardly call what he wrote about a mess...besides I thought Lucian and Viktor had some back story along with Selene...

When I saw the ads and marketing of R&J meeting Vamps and Werewolves, I sorta didn’t want to see this movie. Then when a friend of mine had me see it I loved it. I found it to be loosely based on the Vampire: The Masquerade games by White Wolf which I played often in the mid 90’s, not R&J.

I’ll gladly buy this DVD.

I am not related to B.S.Preston,ESQ, whoever that is...

I just hope a special edition dvd comes out with the AMC documentary on the contemporary relations between the real-life Vampires and Werewolves. This documentary aired on the opening night of Underworld and never aired again. I saw clips of it at my friend's house and was utterly seduced.

If anyone taped that documentary, I'd be willing to pay a lot of moolah for it.

Well, AMC typically does stuff with Fox as far as DVD supplements go. This is a Columbia release.

Tried the AMC site? They might have a "If you liked this presentation, you can order the DVD HERE..." web page.

was anyone else shocked at how loud this dvd was? I had turned my bass down 6 and my lfe off and still heard some bass. Most of the movies I own, i play around 27 or 29 (matrix reloaded and heat I play aroiund 31), and I had underworld at 25, and it was loud. i turned the bass and lfe up at the end credits, and it was thumping, can't imagine how loud it was if I had it at a regular volume.

Who cares if the movie was good or bad...

HOW DOES KATE BECKINSALE LOOK IN IT??? I'd gladly pay $3 or so for a rental to stare at her for a couple hours.

There are far, far worse things you could waste $3 on!

The DVD box says there is a Music Video: Finch: Worms of the Earth. So where is it? I couldn't find it on the menus.

Just saw Underworld.

Barely any decent body shots of Kate; thus, found it difficult to stay awake.

Thank goodness for the great 5.1 track man.

This set is worth it for the porn clip on disc 2 alone.

In other news, there were no great shots of Kate Beckinsale anywhere in Wonderland.
