When I can't trade or sell a DVD or CD I leave it in a public place for someone to find.

If I found a copy of Gigli I would even hesitate using the DvD as a coaster for my drinks

My father was working as a temporary guard at one of the malls and he said one of the vendors just left a of stuff and asked him to throw them away. There was about 3 boxes full of movies.Unfortunately, all were VCD's.Have no use for them.So gavem them all to anyone who wanted free VCD's

They were on the floor of the trash room in a very neat pile....just scooped em up into a trash bag...
No Robotic Arm = No Sale (or the dumpster diving equivalent . . .)

If they're mostly stroke movies, it's more likely some guy just got an "It's either Brianna Banks or me" kind of ultimatum.

He'll regret his decision in @ 6 months.

There's something extremely dark about this imho. I hope the person who left those isn't (gulp) thinking of committing . . . well . . . you know.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong but it is that time of the year.

You know, the "more suicides during the holidays" thing is kind of an urban legend. Read all about it here: http://www.snopes.com/holidays/christmas/suicide.asp

Probably not. A better indication of self termination would be if he or she were bequething the DVDs. "Here Uncle Ernie, take my Salo:CC. I know you'll enjoy it."

It's probably more likely a break-up dumping.

I found a couple porn VHS tapes by the dumpsters a few years ago (no, they weren't homemade!), and I once found an old top-loading Pioneer laserdisc player with only analog sound, made in 1984, that works pretty good!
